South Kitsap’s Art Walk 2001 will be held on May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Port Orchard. The event showcase local artists using various mediums including drawing, painting, pastel, print, watercolor and more. Many artists will display and demonstrate their work outdoors along Bay Street and inside many of the businesses. A map, highlighting participating artists and merchants, will be available the day of the event. Admission is free to the public.

A drawing will be held, and prizes include an original framed watercolor by local artist Roy Carr and a specialty gift basket prepared by Bay Street merchants. Proceeds go to benefit the South Kitsap Art Association.
