Bainbridge Performing Arts is delighted to welcome HA! Comedy Improv! to The Playhouse on May 12. If you’ve never been to an improv show before, you’ll quickly realize that nothing the performers do is scripted. They are literally making it up as they go along. Without preconceived notions for dialogue, plot, situation, and characters, they rely on audience members for fodder. Regardless of this apparent lack of preparation, the audience is virtually guaranteed a riotous evening.

HA! is directed by Ken Ballenger and produced in conjunction with The EDGE. The troupe provides improvisational comedy for theatre and special events throughout the northwest.

HA! Comedy Improv! will be performed May 12, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, which are $8 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults, are available at The Playhouse 200 Madison Ave. N. They may also be charged by phone at (206) 842-8569. BPA Box Office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3pm.
