Black Cat Graphix is a new firm offering a unique blend of fine art savvy and 30 years experience in textile and flat-stock screen printing.
As an editioner of fine art for galleries and artists, a muralist, and studio painter and printmaker, owner Richard Webb, who boasts extensive experience in large and small format architectural and display graphics, offers a level of expertise in aesthetics, color, design and printing technique that is generally not available to the average sign or job shop. These skills, Webb feels, are particularly important when dealing with elements of interior design such as custom draperies, custom wallpaper, or custom upholstery fabrics where coordinating between specific color schemes, textures, and other parameters are involved.
Museum grade is museum grade whether fine art or not, and, in some cases, without the influence of artistic license, industrial screen printing applications can be much more demanding! noted Webb.
Textile and apparel screen printing have been a staple of Webbs ever since he first became involved with screen printing. Webb is also the author of Screen Printing Production Management and many how-to type articles in trade journals as well as a trade show lecturer and textile consultant. He works from a studio in Southworth and can be reached at (360) 769-9081. |
