Anthony’s to open in Gig Harbor

Anthony’s Restaurants, a Seattle chain of premier dining establishments known for fresh, Northwest seafood, has announced it will open a location in Gig Harbor.

The chain has acquired Gig Harbor landmark, the Shoreline Steak and Seafood Grill. The 40 year-old restaurant, which sits at the head of the bay and offers a stunning view of the Gig Harbor and Mt. Rainier, will undergo an interior remodel and reopen sometime mid-month.

The 7,600 square foot restaurant will have 145 seats in the Dining Room with additional seats in the bar and on the outside deck. The remodel will include a new seating layout as well as new paint, carpet, tabletops, booths and signage. Rushforth Construction of Tacoma is the remodel contractor.

The Anthony’s menu will feature fresh Northwest seafood, local produce and Northwest wines and microbrews. The chain’s traditional favorites will be offered including the Sunday Night Dungeness Crab Feed, and its four course $14.95 Sunset Dinner will be offered seven days a week. Initially, the restaurant will open for dinner only.

Anthony’s owns and operates seventeen Northwest seafood restaurants in twelve waterfront locations in the Puget Sound area as well as its own seafood company.
