Rotary looking for Non-profit groups

The Rotary Club of Silverdale has a limited number of openings for local non-profit organizations to participate in its popular “Great Kitsap Duck Race,” which is one of the most well-known fund raising events held in the county. Each year it returns all of the money it raises through “Duck Adoptions” back to community projects, organizations and non-profit groups.

The race is held each July during the annual Whaling Days Festival in Silverdale and has distributed over a quarter of a million dollars back to local organizations, projects, groups and events.

For more information about the race and the qualifications needed to meet the State of Washington Licensing Rules and Regulations, contact Dr. Michael Wagner at (360) 692-3800 or Robert Cathcart at (360) 698-9459.
