Boxlight’s new XD-10m breaks the size barrier

Poulsbo’s Boxlight Corp. has debuted a new digital projector, the XD-10m, a three pound unit that’s so small it practically fits in your pocket.

The unit is housed in a sleek and ultra-compact magnesium case (6.68 in. x 2.0 in. x 8.63 in.) and is about half the weight of a typical notebook computer. With 1100 ANSI lumens, the XD-10m can handle just about any lighting environment, including “lights-on” presentations. Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology and native XGA resolution produce crystal clear images and crisp, high-contrast text in both digital and analog formats.

The XD-10m is compatible with every leading video standard, as well as HDTV formats for viewing high definition television. The on-board DVI connection can be used to connect to both analog laptops and the latest digital upgrades. The DVI cables include a hot-pluggable USB mouse connection for the remote mouse to allow presenters to command the presentation from anywhere in the room.

It also offers superior video quality from the built-in video feature (single SVHS and RCA inputs) for true multimedia without the added weight of detachable video modules found on other microportable units.

A built-in manual zoom lens makes it easy to get just the right-sized image to fill up the screen and the digital keystone adjustment squares-up the image at the touch of a button. The convenient remote control liberates speakers to roam the stage or interact with the audience.
