Bainbridge Island-based Fairbank Construction Company has named Brian Dempsey as its new president. Dempsey has been serving as the firms general manager and has worked at every level within the company in a career that spans 21 years.
The company specializes in high-end custom homes as well as commercial projects and has built such projects as Harbourside Condominiums on Eagle Harbor, Wharfside Office Park, the American Marine Bank branch on High School Rd, Courtyards on Madison and a number of other small office and mixed-use projects. It has also built over 200 homes ranging from small cabins to waterfront estates.
According to owner Tad Fairbank, who will continue as the CEO and focus on long range planning, customer relations, and sales and marketing, Dempsey has been responsible for many of the day-to-day operations over the past eight years.
Brian has earned a reputation among architects and owners for his attention to detail and high level of integrity and fairness in all areas that he has worked, commented Fairbank.
In his new position, Dempsey will oversee the work of more than 65 employees and projects in five counties as well as quality control and continued implementation of policies that have earned the company a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. |
