B2B Solutions, Inc., a firm that assists small to medium sized companies experiencing serious debt problems, recently opened an office on Bainbridge Island.

According to owner Rich Weaver, “In the past, small businesses with debt problems haven’t been able to turn to anyone specially trained to assist them, while their creditors can utilize collection agencies, debt collection lawyers and the court system. As a result, judgments can pile up, the business owner sees no way out, and often the company fails.”

The firm acts as an intermediary between the debtor client and creditors or their lawyers, reopening communication and negotiating settlements that are realistic for the client. Unlike traditional mediators, the firm works exclusively for the debtor client, negotiating the best terms possible, while helping creditors recognize that accepting a settlement is in their own best interests.

Weaver’s background includes 22 years owning a retail business. He is also a member of the International Association of Business Mediation Consultants (IABMC) and has received intensive training in effective techniques for resolving business debt problems.
