Poulsbo’s Integrated Business Resources (IBR) has announced a series of seminars aimed at the owners of small businesses. They will include courses in two critical areas — Human Resources Management and Business Organization and Planning.

According to IBR president Richard Green, the courses have been designed to be practical and action-oriented, and to address key needs of local business owners and managers. Written materials are included in the cost of each course.

Although full-series enrollment isn’t required, discounts are offered to those wishing to do so, as well as for group registrations. Courses offered include the following:

Human Resources Management Series:
• Hiring, Firing and Effective Employee Management
• Employment Rules, Regulations and Practices
• Personnel Documentation
• Employee Performance Reviews

Business Organization and Planning Series:
• Drafting a Business Plan
• Deciding on a Legal Structure (LLC, Corp., Partnership, etc.)
• Strategic Planning
• Effective Sales methods
• E-Commerce &; Technology Trends

All courses will be held in the North Kitsap area and dvance reservations are required.
