On February 23rd, the Port Orchard chapter of Business & Professional Women will hold its Young Careerist Competition. The completition is open to all women between the ages of 25 and 35 who are working or going to school in Kitsap Co. They must support the political platform of the BPW. The group also offered a special thanks to Barnes and Noble in Silverdale and the generous Kitsap County community. It’s yearly “gift wrapping fund raiser” raised $611. The money will go towards providing two Kitsap County residents with a $500 scholarship.
