The YWCA of Kitsap County announced that CitiFoundation, the corporate giving arm of CitiFinancial, recently awarded a grant of $3,000 to support the YWCA’s Saturday Kids K.A.M.P. (Kids Are Making Progress) pilot project.

The program targets at-risk youth one Saturday a month. with fun activities that reinforce and develop decision making skills, leadership abilities, fosters self-expression and self-confidence.

The YWCA community Center is located at 905 Pacific Ave. in downtown Bremerton, with a satellite office on Bainbridge Island The YWCA of Kitsap provides support, advocacy, and referrals to families affected by domestic violence and to families with children at-risk for neglect and abuse
