j Omega Engineering, Inc., an electrical engineering firm providing leading edge electrical and communications design services for commercial, industrial, and hi-tech facilities, recently opened an office on Bainbridge Island. The firm’s services include the design of power distribution, lighting systems, telecomm/data, security, and fire detection systems.

The firm is owned by Edward J. David and Daniel K. Davis. As a team they have designed and managed the electrical engineering for a number of local projects including the 22 acre PSNS expansion project, PSNS Dining and Reception Center, PSNS Fleet Support Building, and the Kitsap County Work Release Facility.

David boasts over 16 years engineering experience. A project manager at Sparling, Inc. from 1990-1997, he was promoted to Associate in 1994. In 1998 AE Associates made him Principal for the multi-office firms’ electrical engineering    division.
Davis has over 12 years engineering experience, and following 4 years as an aerospace engineer, he became a Project Designer for Sparling in 1993. In 1998 he joined AE Associates as a project manager.
