Bainbridge Performing Arts Education Department (BPA) is offering acting classes for adults, 18 years and older, beginning this month. This six week class enlists the expertise of three gifted instructors.

• Debra Bedient, a 20-year theater veteran with extensive experience both as an actress and director, will share her insights on the art and science of the perfect audition.

• Joanne Keegan, a Cornish graduate and educator from Olympic College will offer instruction on scene acting and characterization.

• Barbara Deering will lead the final two sessions. She will focus on acting in a musical, including appropriate audition selections for musical theater.

The classes are targeted at all skill levels and no acting experience is necessary. Classes will be held Mondays, Jan. 22 to March 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuition is $195.
