Capturing images on photos is just the beginning of Satterwhite’s art process. Adding a new dimension to standard photography, she uses three formats for expressing the unique qualities of her work: Hand-Tinting, Image Transfers, and Emulsion Transfers. Inspired by colors found in nature, she often chooses her subjects in the Pacific Northwest. Her work also reflects her travels through Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and around the U.S.
