Bremerton Symphony and Chorale
to perform “Carols of Christmas”

“Carols of Christmas” will unite the Bremerton Symphony Orchestra and the 70 voice Concert Chorale as they present the Bremerton Symphony Association’s annual Christmas program on Dec. 10. The event will take place at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center, 1500 13th Street.

The auditorium doors and box office will open at 2 p.m. for the 3 p. m. concert. “Carols of Christmas” is sponsored by West Hills Honda.

“Carols” returns as a holiday celebration for the whole family — and especially children. Music Director/Orchestra Conductor John Welsh will lead the combined orchestra and chorale in popular seasonal hits and include a musical surprise or two.

The Wild Instrument Petting Zoo, presented by Ted Brown Music in Silverdale and the Bremerton Symphony League, will be in the lobby prior to the concert. Parents are welcome to bring cameras to take photos of their children petting the instruments and being surprised at the end of the concert by Santa, who has promised to make an appearance.

Ticket prices for the concert are $8 for adults and seniors, $5 for children and Olympic College students with vouchers, and $25 for a family. Tickets are available at the Bremerton Symphony Association’s office, 535-B Sixth Street, in Bremerton; at the Kitsap Mall Customer Service Counter; or at the box office beginning one hour prior to concert. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (360) 373-1722 or via the web, www.symphonic.org.
