It is estimated that in 1999, 102 million attendees visited more than 4,500 tradeshows across the United States. According to a new study, those numbers will climb 25 to 30 percent in the next few years to 125 million attendees, 6,000 tradeshows and more than two-million exhibitors. What those numbers dont show is that the majority of tradeshow exhibitors, no matter what the business or industry, know very little about planning and pulling off a successful trade show exhibit.
