A visit to the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce now gives Bainbridge Island business owners access to free business counseling. Susan Segler of the Kitsap Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Olympic College is available there every other Thursday afternoon.

“We are excited about the partnership between the Chamber and the SBDC,” said Jack MacArthur, Executive Director of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce. “Now, Bainbridge Island business owners have an opportunity for easier assess to the quality services offered by the SBDC.”

Segler noted, “Although I always work very hard to accommodate the busy schedules of local business owners, some clients cannot afford the commute time to meet at our Bremerton location. Having a physical presence on Bainbridge Island will dramatically increase accessibility to confidential business counseling for those clients.”

The Kitsap SBDC offers a wealth of resources including free, confidential business consultation, small business workshops and seminars, market research information, assistance with business plan development, and referrals to other business assistance providers.
