Sprint employees top $55,000 for United Way
Company adds $26,000 for record-setting donation level

Sprint employees joined hands with the company in its “Building Tomorrow Together” United Way campaign and will donate more than $80,000 to the geographic areas in Oregon and Washington where the company provides local service.

Locally, Sprint associates have pledged nearly $5,000 and the company has provided a 50 percent match for a total of $7,444 for the local agency.

“While the pledge total for the company’s Poulsbo-based employees is short of last year’s record giving, it is well ahead of the historical average of around $3,000,” noted Brad Camp, Sprint public affairs manager.
