Poulsbo’s Northwest College of Art (NCA) recently received special recognition from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) at the Career Schools and Colleges Convention held in Las Vegas.

NCA completed the rigorous accreditation process without any stipulations, being one of only 53 schools in the nation — out of over 750 accredited by ACCSCT to do so.

ACCSCT also approved NCA to offer a new multi-media elective within its BFA degree program in Visual Communication. This new major will be available to current freshman who will now have the opportunity to choose a graphic design, fine art or multi-media major.
