Artists, designers and the public are invited to come and create your own Christmas stocking for a charity auction to be held on Dec. 9 at the new Elanden Interiors showroom at Elanden Gardens in Gorst.

Several major showrooms from the Design Center is Seattle are participating in the event and donating fabrics and trim as well. A prominent Northwest glass artist has begun work on a glass stocking for the auction as well. Stockings must be completed and delivered to Elanden Interiors by 5 p.m. on Dec. 3.

“This is a wonderful way for designers to give of their time and talent,” said Shanna Neims, owner of Elanden Interiors and manager of the event which benefits the Kitsap Aids Healthcare Foundation. The silent auction will begin at noon and run until 4 p.m. Live music and refreshments will be featured as well.
