The Association of Membership and Marketing Executives, a national organization of state chambers of commerce and manufacturing associations, recently honored the Association of Washington Business (AWB) for being one of the fastest-growing membership associations in the nation. AWB received the award in recognition of its success in achieving an eight percent growth rate in membership revenues the highest growth rate among membership organizations in the nation.
To be voted tops by your peers within some very stringent criteria is quite an accomplishment, commented AWB president Don C. Brunell. This award is an honor. It is a tribute to the hard work of AWBs membership staff, led by AWB Vice President for Membership Gary Nash.
Nash says the honor belongs to his staff. I am fortunate to have a very dedicated staff, he says. Our growth is a direct result of their hard work and professionalism.
An organization of private-sector employers, the AWB is Washington states chamber of commerce. It lobbies for public policies that encourage economic growth, increase productivity and create jobs.
