The Bremerton-based design firm of Art Anderson Associates has won a five year, Multiple Award Schedule contract for professional engineering services from the General Services Administration.

“This new contract is the federal government’s most important procurement vehicle for contracting out design services,” said Ralph Duncan, Vice President of Marine Projects and Business Development. “It provides a convenient vehicle for any federal agency to obtain our services, it allows them to have more control over their own projects, and it eliminates many of the complexities of managing a government project. Clearly, it is a unique and innovative approach to streamlining the acquisition of consulting and design services. It also now gives us a purchasing vehicle to accompany our marketing message. In the past many such clients were locked into multi year contracts with large national firms.”
