Washington CASH, a Seattle-based non-profit fostering economic self-sufficiency through self-employment for low-income people is now offering its services in Kitsap County.
The organization offers business training, lending and business support. Participants of the program join together to access services that include a required 12-week business training program which is provided at no cost to the participant, business loans up to $5,000 with first loans starting at $500, and technical assistance in accounting, taxes, marketing, management, and more.
Peter Rose, Executive Director of Washington CASH said, We have been looking at Kitsap County for a long time. It has proven successful in Seattle and I know that it will be successful here in helping low-income people become self sufficient.
