Art Anderson to present marine
electrical seminar

In an effort to reduce confusion on marine electrical system requirements, Art Anderson Associates will present a one-day seminar on Marine & Offshore Electrical Systems: Standards & Documentation Requirements.

The event will focus on a review of international, flag state, class society, and industry rules and standards on electrical systems, and also address documentation submittal requirements to regulatory bodies. This includes specific documentation to be submitted and what information should (or should not) be included on the documentation.

The seminar is designed for project managers, design personnel, compliance managers, port engineers, and vessel inspectors.

The course will be conducted by Joseph Payne P.E., a registered Professional Engineer with 17 years of marine electrical operations and engineering experience, including casino vessels, offshore oil rigs, ocean tugs, dynamic positioning vessels, diesel-electric propulsion and extensive experience with ABS classification requirements.

The seminar will be offered in Seattle on November 15 (just prior to FishExpo/WorKBoat Northwest) and is also available on-site at individual facilities. For more information please contact Art Anderson Associates at (360) 479-5600 or www.artanderson.com.
