At a candidates’ forum held at the Kitsap County Fair, sponsored by The Sun incumbent county commissioners Chris Endresen and Charlotte Garrido both publicly announced their support of Home Rule for Kitsap county.

When specifically asked by the moderator, “What do you think of Home Rule?” Endresen replied, “I am voting ‘Yes’ on Home Rule.” Garrido agreed.

Endresen and Garrido, both Democrats, join former commissioners Billie Eder, Matt Ryan, Bill Mahan, and Gene Lobe in supporting Home Rule for Kitsap county.

With the commitment of Endresen and Garrido, all Republican and Democrat candidates for county commissioner say they will vote “Yes” on Home Rule in the November general election.
