The following questions concerning the Fall media campaign were submitted to VCB executive director Grant Griffin. As of presstime, Griffin hadn’t directly answered any of them, responding instead with an e-mail that was non-specific.

• Now that you have a list of locally qualified people, are you going to allow these local people the opportunity to bid on any of this new work? If not, EXACTLY why not - and please answer in detail, without any obfuscation.
• Since you claim to have an ongoing contract with the previous people, will you make a copy of it available to us?
• After your last fiasco, you promised to compile a list of local people qualified to do this work. We attempted to help you with this by publishing the Qualification Form. Can we see the rest of the list YOU have compiled?
• Exactly how much money generated from the Hotel/Motel Tax will be used for this? Will there be funding from any other sources? If so, what are they?
• In relation to the “sponsorships” of the local businesses you have proposed — will they have the opportunity to hire local people to produce any portion of the work for which they will be financially responsible? If not, why not?.
