Project Family, a non-profit community service group primarily concerned with local parenting programs received a $5,000 grant from Bank of America to help support its Parenting Resource Center.

The center offers a lending library of books, audio tapes, and videos along with a variety of pamphlets and brochures as well as providing a reading area for clients to review materials unavailable for check-out.

Project Family is also developing a clearinghouse for parenting resources which include training opportunities, group meetings, specialized parenting or parent educator programs and projects, networking opportunities and parenting seminars and conferences.
