Tacoma’s Bratrud Middleton Insurance, which has branch offices in Bremerton and Bainbridge Island, has been ranked as one of the 100 largest brokers in the nation, according to Business Insurance, a weekly trade magazine considered an authoritative source on the commercial insurance business.

To make the Top 100 list, agents and brokers must deal directly with corporate or institutional policyholders and generate at least $500,000 in gross revenues from commercial retail brokerage insurance business. Seventy-four percent of Bratrud Middleton’s business is commercial.

Business Insurance serves executives who are responsible for the purchase and administration of corporate insurance/self-insurance programs and has a readership of 136,000.
