Belfair man opens spray liner business

Spray Line Technologies is a new company recently opened by Belfair resident Kevin Swann. The company specializes in applying state-of-the-art, 100 percent pure Polyurea thermal plastic elastomer. The thermal bonded spray-on product is used most often for pick-up truck bed liners, but the process has numerous other applications according to Swann.

He said that the trademarked “Full Metal Jacket” slip resistant coating allows for a consistent, even coverage that can be used on almost any surface, including steel, wood, aluminum, concrete and fiberglass. When applied, the product creates a wear-resistant finish that protects both beauty and function. Swann also noted that the 100 percent pure Polyurea, unlike the urethanes, is twice as strong and comes in many colors. It’s excellent for uses like automotive undercoating, mixer tank lining, sound deadening, low-cost molds, ambulance interiors, salt and sand spreaders, protection of foam floatation billets as well as for horse and utility trailers, boats, snowmobiles and of course, pick-up truck bed liners.

Swann has opened his first shop at 2116 Carriage Dr. S.W. in Olympia’s Capital Auto Mall and expects to expand to Kitsap County in the near future. For more information on Full Metal Jacket products, Spray Line Technologies may be reached at (360) 705-3999 or (360) 731-6261.
