This years version of KitsaParty, the areas biggest fund-raiser, will benefit seven organizations. Kitsap Mall and Kitsap Bank are co-sponsors of the event, which is scheduled for Saturday October 14.
Selected to receive a share of the revenue from KitsaParty are:
The West Sound Chapter of the American Red Cross to purchase a low mileage van. to transport people and equipment to events, classes and other various functions.
Bremerton Foodline to purchase a stainless steel sink (compartmentalized to health department food handling requirements), warehouse shelving (to allow food storage in bulk quantities), a dishwasher, trash compactor, bulk food repackaging workstations, shelving for bakery products, and stainless steel work tables (commercial food preparation grade).
CSTOCK to purchase a stereo amplifier, auditorium speakers, stage monitor speakers, UHF wireless body pack transmitters with microphones, UHF dual channel receivers, hanging microphones, mixer board (16 channel), parametric equalizer, adapters, cables and connectors.
Christmas in April to purchase services and materials they cannot have donated, such as more costly materials and services, roofing and flooring, electrical wiring and the renting of heavy equipment.
Hospice of Kitsap County to purchase 3-network compatible PCs with Intel processors , 266 MHz minimum and four computer monitors.
Kitsap Community Resources to purchase furnishings for its emergency housing units. Items include 10 single beds, four double beds and 12 dressers.
Kitsap Sexual Assault Center to purchase a copy machine and a Lucent Partner ACS phone system.
Over the last 15 years, KitsaParty has raised over $920,000 for Kitsap County nonprofit organizations. This year KitsaParty expects to raise over $60,000 for this years recipients.
Tickets for this years event are $40 each and are available through the recipient groups as well as at all Kitsap Bank branches and at Kitsap Mall. |
