Cosmo’s Deli, which will feature a lunch menu consisting of homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and combinations, will open next to Starbucks at Bethel Place, which is located at the intersection of Bethel Rd. and Lund Ave. in Port Orchard.

According to owners Shelly Lewis and Christina Balazs, leasehold improvements are already underway and the eatery should open in late August.

The pair say the authentic delicatessen and specialty food market will be the first of its kind in the area, offering signature items as well as retail imported and domestic foods and wines. The duo expect to cater to the local working lunch crowd.

Cosmo’s will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with later hours possible on Friday evening.
