Reimbursement for business travel expenses is standard practice among employers, but nearly all organizations attempt to curb travel costs through transportation restrictions, spending caps, or other constraints, according to the latest survey of expense reimbursement and business travel policies.
The vast majority of surveyed establishments normally require their business travelers to fly coach, and most expect employees to purchase the lowest-cost tickets available.
Employers are less inclined to impose specific limits on meal or lodging expenses incurred on business trips. |
