YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County recently announced two new members joined the board of directors: James E. Carmichael and Linda L. Gutmann.

Carmichael previously served on the Gig Harbor Family YMCA Capital Campaign and has been a YMCA member since 1990. He has been president and CEO of Kitsap Bank for 24 years and brings his experience in finance and strategic expertise to the board.

“I look forward to working with the members of this Board, guiding and supporting the YMCA’s mission of building stronger kids, families and communities,” said Carmichael.

“Both Carmichael and Gutmann will be great assets to the board and the YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County is excited to bring them onboard,” said Blake Bolton, board chair.
