The Boy & Girls Club of Bainbridge announced recently that Shelly Stockman was tapped as board president. She has served as a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island’s Board of Directors since 2007.

“The Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island delivers an invaluable service to our kids and our community,” said Stockman, manager/co-owner of Bainbridge Athletic Club. “In the coming months we will be putting our strategic plan in place and redoubling our efforts to raise much needed scholarship funds for kids and families in need.”

“I am very excited about Stockman taking over the helm as board president of our Club,” said Pat Murray, executive director, Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island. “Both as a business owner on the Island and during her two years of service on the Boys & Girls Club’s Board, Stockman has proved to be a leader and motivator of the highest caliber. Her vision and commitment to improving the lives of young people will help drive our club to higher levels of effectiveness over the next year.”
