HBA of Kitsap County installs officers, directors and 2009 awards

Installed as president was Ron Perkerewicz, Inspection & Permit Services/JCM Property Management; as first vice president, Justin Ingalls, RCS, Kitsap Trident Homes; as second vice president, Wayne Keffer, WRK Construction; as treasurer, Randy Biegenwald, Randy Biegenwald CPA PS; and as secretary, Dee Coppola, Wet Apple Media.

Also installed were Builder Directors. Karla Cook, Cook Construction; Judy Mentor Eagleson, Mentor Company; and Jim Way, Pristine Homes. Associate Directors installed were Leslie Peterson, CGA, Liberty Bank of Washington and Shawnee Spencer, Kitsap Credit Union.

State Directors installed were Robert Coultas, Coultas General Contracting; Lary Coppola, Wet Apple Media; Gale Culbert, Clean Space NW; Greg Livdahl, Fairbank Construction; John Armstrong, Armstrong Homes; Justin Ingalls, Kitsap Trident Homes; Rick Courson, Cedar Bay Homes; Keffer, WRK Construction; Robert Lubowicki, Arborview Construction and Walter Galitzki, Sun Path Custom Construction. Alternate State Director installed was Brent Marmon, Pacific Northwest Title.

National Directors installed were Keffer, WRK Construction; Rick Cadwell, Drury Construction and Justin Ingalls, Kitsap Trident Homes. Alternate National Directors installed were Mike Brown, FPH Construction; David Smith, Central Highlands and Jeff Coombe, JCM Property Management.

2009 President Rick Cadwell awarded 23rd District Rep. Christine Rolfes State Official of the Year in recognition of her leadership and support for Low Impact Development Implementation; Commissioner Charlotte Garrido Special Programs Official of the Year in recognition of her leadership and vision for energy efficiency and conservation stimulus programs; Commissioner Josh Brown County Official of the Year in recognition of his leadership and efforts to make Kitsap County a better place to live and work; and Mayor Lary Coppola City Official of the Year in recognition of his leadership in transforming the City of Port Orchard into a more business friendly environment.

Courson, Cedar Bay Homes was recognized as a HBA Life Director, becoming the eighth member to be selected for this honor in the 55 years of the association.

Each year the HBA recognizes members for outstanding contribution and efforts on behalf of the association.

The 2009 Remodeler of the Year was Keffer, WRK Construction. The 2009 Associate Member of the Year was Shawnee Brown, HughesTech NW. The 2009 Builder Member of the Year was awarded to Lubowicki, Arborview Construction.
