Kitsap firm wins major Keyport
NUWC Navy contract
ATS Intelligent Discovery announced it has received a three-year $6.5 million contract with the U.S. Navy to provide Keyport NUWC information technology support services.

The Silverdale-based technology and services company will serve as the prime contractor for the contract. Subcontractors on the ATS team are Envisioneering, another Kitsap company, and CACI, a Washington D.C. based systems integrator. The ATS team will support the Keyport program by maintaining and supporting legacy systems not converting to NMCI (Navy/Marine Corps Intranet). The ATS team will also provide staffing to support business process automation for specific Keyport departments and organizations, and IT help desk support to the over 2,700 Keyport employees.

David Wachter, CEO of ATS said, “To win this large of a contract in our backyard means a great deal to our employees. It also shows that the Navy is happy with our 8-year track record at Keyport, providing logistics management software and services.” The contract is also the first to be awarded to ATS under the U.S. Navy’s Seaport-e contract vehicle that they were awarded last year.
