The Forward Washington Foundation has welcomed Sen. Tim Sheldon and Jim Horn as new members of its Board of Directors. “We are proud to have individuals with such depth of experience in both the private and public sectors as members of our board.” said Foundation President Dino Rossi.
Sheldon is a State Senator from the 35th District. In addition to serving in the Senate, Sheldon is a general partner in Sheldon Properties, a family-owned tree farm on the Olympic Peninsula that sells high-grade saw logs, gravel, and oysters.
Horn is a former State Senator, serving a total of 16 years in both the Washington State House of Representatives and the Washington State Senate. Prior to that role; he was the mayor of Mercer Island when the I-90 expanded facility was opened in 1989. Horn has 31 years of management experience at the Boeing Company.
