National and regional security experts
to present in Seattle
ASG, an independent integrator of enterprise security solutions, announced that it will host the fifth annual ASG Security Expo at SAFECO Field on Nov. 10. The expo is a unique forum for companies from every industry to learn about and evaluate the latest security technologies and trends. Industry speakers will address the business, security, and IT challenges surrounding the opportunities and risks of implementing enterprise security solutions.

Lenel Systems International and GE Infrastructure Security will be the lead sponsors of this year's event. Kevin Wine, VP of Marketing at Lenel, underscored the importance of attending for local executives. “This is the premier event of its kind in the region,” said Wine. “It's a terrific opportunity for executives and IT management to learn more about the latest security technologies and how they're being utilized and implemented by other local companies. If you attend just one security-related event this year, ASG Expo 2005 is not to be missed.”

Phil Aronson, CEO of Aronson Security, believes the event will allow executives in the Pacific Northwest to engage with their peers and benchmark their own experiences, accelerating their ability to define and implement the right solution, at the right cost, with clear and measurable objectives. "The keynote speaker alone is worth the time and investment in attending this event," said Aronson. "Ed Sonier is the key executive at Fidelity Investments who is driving the integration of corporate business and security objectives throughout the organization. His experiences alone make this a must attend event."

Seattle Mariners' Director of Security, Paul Schieck will also address the unique challenges of securing a high profile venue while protecting the customer experience. In addition, Patrick Donaldson of Metsger Forbes, a nationally renowned security consultant, will discuss the key benchmarks across industry segments such as healthcare, government, education and corporate campuses. These benchmarks provide guidelines to understanding what is possible, why it is important, and how to fund it.

Also at the Expo, ASG will be providing a review of key security implementations that have occurred over the last 12 months, highlighting unique approaches and successes at some of the Northwest's leading companies. All the keynote speakers will speak individually as well as participate in a panel discussion that will be open to all attendees.
