Summit 2005 set
   Honorary Chairman, Congressman Jay Inslee, will address attendees from the business, government, education, technology, and economic development sectors from an eight-county region at West Sound Technology Professional Association’s (WSTPA) 4th annual “Western Washington Summit on Technology and Economic Development Entrepreneurship.” The event will take place Oct. 13, from 3 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kitsap Conference Center at the Harborside in Bremerton. The world-class agenda includes a technology showcase with exhibitors, a cocktail reception, and presentations. A no-host bar is available throughout the entire event.

The keynote presenter is internationally-renowned author John Thorp (The Information Paradox), whose topic is “Re-thinking IT Governance: Delivering Real Business Value from IT-enabled Change.”

Other special guest speakers include:

John Wylder, a strategic security advisor, for Microsoft, and author of “Strategic Information Security.” His topic will be, “Innovations in Identity Management — What Bill Gates Meant When He Said “The Password is Not Enough.”

Mike Bookey of Pachena Light Consulting will kick off the presentations with, “America at the Internet Crossroads: Choosing the Road to Innovation, Wealth and a Supercharged Economy.”
