Fischer to head up sales and
marketing at Paladin

Linda Fischer has signed on with Poulsbo-based Paladin Data Systems as the company’s new director of sales and marketing. In that role she will manage and participate in the front-line sales for the company. She is also responsible for strategy, planning and management of both the marketing activities and sales operations for all aspects of the technology firm.

Prior to joining Paladin, Fischer served as the business development director at the Bellevue office of GrapeCity, Inc., a Japanese global software development firm with clients such as Microsoft, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Sony and Intel.

Fischer managed complex IT project negotiations with domestic and international accounts, developed a market penetration strategy for North America and expanded vertical markets in manufacturing, aerospace, retail and wireless.

She has also worked as the director of channels for USinternetworking, an application service provider, where she negotiatied strategic channel partnerships with Microsoft and AT&T and increasing online revenue by $5 million via partnership agreements. Her previous professional experience includes working for Boeing Company as a development manager and working as a market development manager for GTE/Verizon.
