Gary Macy of Paladin will do a presentation to the West Sound Technology Professionals Association (WSTPA) on ODIN (Outbreak Detection Information Network) its new bio-terrorism detection program with the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command on July 21. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at he Poulsbo branch of the Kitsap Regional Library, located at 700 NE Lincoln Street.
ODIN is a wide-area monitoring program that will detect near-real-time trends in healthcare treatment and diagnosis. It is a joint research and development project of Paladin Data Systems, the Foundation for Quality Health Care, the Department of Defense, University of Washington, the Washington State Department of Health, and the public health departments of Kitsap County, Tacoma/Pierce County, and Seattle/King County.
Jim Nall will discuss EKO (Environmental Knowledge Organizer System) the firms first Web-based, integrated project management, database, and reporting system for natural resource management.
There will be a monthly geek prize raffle. The cost is free to WSTPA members and $5 for non-members. |
