FinditKitsap.com launches local search engine

FinditKitsap.com has launched a local search engine and on-line registry designed specifically for Kitsap shoppers. According to the company, shoppers can find nearly every business that offers any product or service…with just two or three clicks. Shoppers can search the entire area, or narrow the search by city or region. Over 10,000 businesses are listed so far.

Stephen Jennings, company principal heading Business Member Services, said the firm was started because of the limited choices shoppers have to find all local sources, the high cost of traditional advertising, and the power and extensive local use of the internet.

“With more than ten thousand basic listings and growing, we intend to list essentially every business in Kitsap County, Port Ludlow, and Pierce County north of the Narrows Bridge. Basic listings are free, and a business may list itself in as many categories/locations as it wishes,” Jennings said.
