The Washington Technology Center (WTC) will host the first-ever Washington State Technology Summit on April 8 in Seattle. The event is billed as a statewide conference reviewing the trends, challenges and opportunities surrounding some of Washingtons most prominent and promising industries, and as a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about technology resources within key Washington State industries. Industries of focus include energy, life sciences, nanotechnology and defense and security.
The comprehensive program will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing Washington as it moves forward to create a thriving economic future. It will also cover relevant information on strategies to keep Washington at the forefront of technology innovation and business development, as well as an overview of the findings from the Washington Innovation Assessment Study, which lays the groundwork for future investment in target industries.
The event will take place at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It will include a full agenda of timely topics and special programs that combine general sessions with individual industry tracks for maximum value, plus a networking reception and technology partner showcase.
