The Hansville Community Center Board recently embarked upon the “Futures Project,” which will be looking at the community the way it is now and the way it might be in the future. The West Sound Technology Professionals (WSTPA) will be helping the community learn of ways technology can and will shape its future.

Three regional leaders, Kitsap County Commissioner Chris Endresen; David Porter, executive director of the Kitsap Regional Economic Development Council; and Doña L. Keating, president of WSTPA, addressed the issues of technology as a tool to stimulate economic development, including a discussion on telework and telecommuting, and how WSTPA’s mission and initiatives tie into this goal.
