The West Sound Technology Professionals Association’s (WSTPA) Board of Directors recently appointed Shari Wood as its ninth and newest at-large member.

“Shari possesses a wealth of experience as a thriving entrepreneur,” said Doña L. Keating, President and Chairman of the Board. “Her passion for excellence and focus on results will prove to be strong assets two WSTPA’s future growth.”

Wood, a contractor with the U.S. Navy providing business development, graphic and web design, marketing, and technical support, has a wide range of hardware, software, marketing, communication and design experience. In addition, she runs her own technical services start-up business and sits as President of the BAE Systems Volunteer Employees Recreation Association.

Having provided marketing support to Microsoft, Cranium, and Bellevue Community College, Wood holds a Bachelor degree in Journalism from University of Wyoming and is working towards an MBA in Marketing.
