Time is running out to register for Western Washington Summit 2003, the West Sound Technology Professionals Associations (WSTPA) second annual Technology and Economic Development Entrepreneurship event being held Thursday, Oct. 9 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Sons of Norway, in Poulsbo.
Over 300 leaders from the business, technical, government, economic development and political communities from a seven-county region are expected to attend.
Speakers will include the honorary co-chairs, Congressmen Norm Dicks and Jay Inslee as well as the keynote speaker, former comgressman Rick White, President & CEO, TechNet, who will discuss, "Should the Technology Community Care About Politics?"
Also on the agenda are Larry Sivitz, of Seattle 24x7, Allan Friedman, chairman of the Washington Regional Alliance for Infrastructure and Network Security (RAINS) and Ken Myer, president of the Technology Alliance.
