For the forth year, Poulsbo-based Paladin Data Systems has presented one graduating senior from the West Sound Consortium with a Microsoft Certification Scholarship.

This year’s scholarship recipient is Jason Whitford, son of Lewis and Teresa Whitford of Port Orchard. He plans to begin his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) course work this summer, and should complete the training and testing later this year. The MCSE credential will prepare recent South Kitsap High graduate for career opportunities as a network engineer.

Paladin Data Systems Corporation is a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center offering classes in Microsoft, Network+, A+ and Cisco. An authorized VUE Testing Facility, Paladin can certify students in a variety of specialties, including: Cisco, A+, Network+, Linux, Lucent, Microsoft, Novell, and Sun.
