Michael Calkins and Nathan Ayers have joined forces to create C&A IT Consulting with the goal of providing technical expertise to businesses. The say their specialty is showing firms how to benefit by networking their computers more efficiently.

Ayers is currently interning at Paladin Data Systems, setting up classroom servers and performing remote installations. Certifications earned at Paladin were the impetus for Calkins and Ayers to combine their talents.

Recently, Radix Marine, Inc. in Silverdale hired C&A IT Consulting to expand its network infrastructure after acquiring Integrated Maritime. Radix supports an innovative program in cooperation with the Navy.

“This involvement is expanding our IT needs,” says Scott Edwards, vice president of Radix Marine. “C&A helped us build an IT system that met our requirements and trained our employees on how to use the software. Mike and Nate were knowledgeable and responsive. They did a marvelous job.”
