Bainbridge Island-based DayCity Internet/SoundDSL recently installed a wireless network at the Lynwood Commons, a new complex of mixed residential, office and retail uses and the home of Walt’s Groceries.

The wireless broadband deployment delivers high speed Internet to each of the units and is secured and available to the tenants via wireless cards and receivers. Reserving this bandwidth for the residents assures them of the bandwidth reliability and speed.

Also, Qwest is currently installing commercial Fiber Link from the Central Office in Winslow to the ISP facilities of DayCity Internet/SoundDSL on Day Road. The Fiber bandwidth is a great benefit to the company as well as the Day Rd Business Park area, by offering improving carrying capacities that are superior to the copper technologies in speeds and clarity. Qwest Engineering and Construction are at work to meet the May 1 completion to the DayCity ISP upgrade and Co-Location Facilities. This will complete DayCity’s class 5 Co-Location Facilities and will house Kitsap Public Utilities District fiber presence on Bainbridge.
