Gig Harbor-based Keating Consulting Service recently completed planning for an Olympic College Exchange 2000 Server implementation.
The project planning included migrations from existing legacy mail server and Exchange 5.5 servers to Microsoft Windows 2000/Exchange 2000 for nearly seven hundred office users.
KCS also added Sellen Construction in Seattle as a new client, and is similarly assisting them in migrations to Exchange server 2000. Along with the Olympic College project, KCS has this year helped nearly 1,000 users take advantage of Web-based mail, shared calendars, public folders, and integrated messaging services.
For the Port Gamble SKlallam Tribal Development Authority, KCS helped create a comprehensive plan to bring broadband internet services to the reservation as part of a pending grant.
Finally, in cooperation with Professional Options, KCS completed a WAN analysis for the City of Poulsbo. The city WAN will provide an extremely high performance network between four city locations.
A presentation to the Poulsbo City Council is planned for March 5.
